About the process
Intercepting the Crucible.
SaveItFromScrap is a high-volume liquidator. We buy bulk closeout scrap lots from refineries, estate liquidations from probate firms, and pawn-shop overflow from regional buyers. The bulk of what we acquire — diamonds in dated mountings, intact gold and platinum settings, branded pieces nobody re-stocked — is destined for the melt pot. Refineries pay by weight. Settings get crushed, stones get pulled and re-graded, history disappears.
Before that happens, we give the public a 30-day window to intercept the crucible. Each piece on the site has a live melt timer. When it hits zero, the lot ships to the refinery and the piece is gone for good.
Prices reflect scrap-adjacent margins, not retail. We are not a boutique. We are a liquidation desk that happens to have a public storefront.
All Sales Final.
Because these are distressed liquidation assets sold at bottom-tier margins, we do not accept returns for sizing, taste, fit, or change of mind. The only exception is structural damage in transit, verified within 48 hours of delivery via the carrier’s insured claim. Every shipment is fully insured and tracked.

Terms of Service
Inventory is sold first-come, first-served. Listed timers are estimates of the date on which a piece is currently scheduled to ship to the refinery. We reserve the right to pull a piece from the public catalog if it’s spoken for by a wholesale buyer. All prices in USD and exclude applicable taxes and insured shipping fees.
